Description

My project is to centralize Karachi Electric's data centers into one lake house and draw meaningful insights to aid decision-making to maximize efficiency and minimize losses through recognizing historical trends and patterns. The data is optimized and visualized in the form of charts and figures on a dashboard that is available to management at KE for high-level analysis. The system tracks revenue, recovery, power breakdowns, faults, energy trends and forecasts them for the future. The aim is to capture nuances using machine learning that may be impossible to analyze manually. We have found a seasonal trend in power, energy, and faults. As summer peaks, all of these variables peak as well. Similarly, the analysis has uncovered behavioral characteristics based on industrial, commercial, and domestic standings on consumers among others.
