Nutrify - A Sustainable Balanced Diet Recommendation System for Pakistani Community
Description
Nutrify is an application aimed at promoting healthy eating habits among Pakistani audiences by offering personalized meal plans. It addresses the lack of centralized data for Pakistani recipes by curating thousands of recipes from Pakistani and South Asian food websites through web scraping. The obtained data will be cleaned and used in recommendation models. The recommendation engine will provide balanced and personalized diet recommendations based on the user's food log and health metrics, utilizing the collaborative filtering technique to cater to multiple health parameters simultaneously. The end product will be a web-based application that provides Pakistani audiences with comprehensive food and nutrition services in one place.
