Final Year Project

Project Title

Load Analysis and Management System

Description

The project will include a microcontroller-based measurement system, that measured the voltage, current, power, frequency, phase and power factor of the supply being provided by KE (220V, 50Hz).This information would then be uploaded on a remote server, with accessibility provided to the consumer at any time (for more transparency in how much energy they are consuming). The system would also include functionality such as remote fault detection, theft detection, and power quality measurement. The communication technology implemented for the FYP is using LoRaWAN (from the consumer meter to the substation/supply meter, but can also be done using other technologies such as ZigBee).
