Final Year Project
Project Title
Multi-party Computation (MPC) using Lightweight Ciphers for the Internet of Things (IoT) Devices
Description
The Internet of Things (IoT) involves the collection and communication of data by light-weight data sensors. Because the sensors do not have a lot of computation power, they use special light-weight encryption schemes to secure their data. This capstone project implements these schemes using a new cryptographic framework called multi-party computation (MPC). The project took root in a course on cryptography offered at Habib University by Dr Elena Andreeva who was visiting from KU Leuven, Belgium and is a co-supervisor. For the project, I spent 3 months at KU Leuven in order to work more closely with Dr. Andreeva.
