Project Title

Autonomous Disaster Drones for Pre-Rescue Mapping of Interior Environments

Description

The main idea behind the project is to help first responders in quick and safe evacuation of disaster survivors particularly earth-quake, land-sliding, etc. The project revolves around the framework of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping, exploration of the unknown terrain, and efficient path planning in order to identify human survivors in complex environments in a quick fashion to minimize the risk for the first-responders.
