Description
The paper establishes psychoanalysis as the main apparatus to understand the mind, conscious and unconscious through notions of the ego, super-ego, id. I have used Metz’s framework of the spectator-screen relationship that superimposes psychoanalysis and cinema to show the deep rooted connection between the two.
