Description

To address the issue of inefficient and labour-intensive surveillance system we propose an Al powered software which adds an extra layer of intelligence in the existing security cameras. An Al-powered, video analytic software system, capable of real-time object detection and object tracking is fundamental. It can effectively help humans make better decisions and keep spaces safe by automatically and autonomously analyzing the video streams in real-time and generating alarms and warnings when necessary as well as enabling post-processing investigation by running searches. To address the issue of high computational and memory requirements, techniques and methodologies for model compression like pruning and quantization will be applied to reduce the storage requirements without impacting the original accuracy.
