Final Year Project
Project Title
Dyeing Identity: Ajrak's Struggle Against Cultural Dilution
Description
This project investigates the root causes of cultural dilution within the Sindhi Ajrak industry by engaging directly with local artisans. Through a synthesis of qualitative survey data, the research highlights the tension between preserving traditional heritage and the pressures of global commercialization. The study concludes by proposing a sustainable policy framework for ethical trade practices that prioritize artisan recognition and cultural significance.
