Final Year Project

Project Title

Highly Efficient Isolated DC-DC Boost Converter for Renewable Applications

Description

Pakistan is largely dependent on thermal (nonrenewable) power generation for its electric supply. Due to inefficient power generation and power distribution, a huge amount of energy is lost. This increases the generating cost and consumes more energy. Similarly, inefficient converters are the prime cause of energy loss in renewable sources. This project has designed efficient Isolated DC-DC converter to cut down on power loss and improve the efficiency of the overall system. If such a system is implemented, it can play a vital role in Pakistan’s energy conservation and reduce major deficit.
