Digital Rights Advocacy for Aurat March participants

Description

My research project was on designing a digital rights advocacy program for Aurat March participants. The march’s organizers and participants, especially those who held provocative posters, received a wave of online backlash that included online sexual harassment, trolling, stalking and bullying. Photos of participants with the posters were edited to harass them. In order to provide support and tools to make the victims feel safer and secure from harassment, I held workshops and disseminated digital security tips among the participants of the March.
