Final Year Project

Project Title

Greed and its Changing Perceptions

Description

My research report is understanding cultures of greed and to show how business ethics have evolved over the years. Drawing parallels from the pre-modern era, my work is based upon the theological work found on business ethics and the present ‘secular’ understanding of it. I present analysis on the way business ethics is being taught in some of the leading business schools of this country and how individuals are being trained. The changes in understanding greed and its connotations are the highlights in my report as it delves into literature of both, pre modern and modern eras. There is inclusion of work of religious figures and sociologists who have written about capitalism and money, and their work provides foundation for the comparison I have drawn in my report.
