Final Year Project
Project Title
Doom & Bloom: Transmissions from our Futures
Description
Our current forms of knowledge are either overly hopeful or hopeless, masculinist, anthropocentric, and predominantly western. Doom & Bloom deconstruct these notions and how they manifest in the Anthropocene by imagining a future that is the opposite of all of the aforementioned, using speculative fiction and design as vehicles for doing so. The result is a collection of flash fiction pieces in book form, along with a small number of speculative artefacts.
