Almari

Description

Almari is a virtual try-on app built for Pakistani clothing like shalwar kameez and kurtas. It uses computer vision and AI to let users see how garments fit their body shape from a single photo. The goal: help online shoppers avoid returns and give local designers an affordable way to showcase collections digitally. I led backend development and integrated the image-processing models. The project proved that localized AI tools can solve region-specific e-commerce problems. Next steps include partnering with Pakistani brands and improving accuracy for diverse fabrics and lighting conditions common in South Asia.
