Project Title

Optimization of 3-Level Inverter in Electric Vehicles

Description

Till this point, healthy research has been conducted on three-level inverters, and comparisons have been drawn between two and three level inverters to gauge their performance. Our proposed solution will largely be able to solve the major problems associated with the traditional two-level inverters mentioned in the previous sections, such as minimizing the voltage stress on the switches present in the inverter. The power rating of the switches used in this topology will also be quite less, as the proposed inverter will be able to switch between three smaller voltage levels rather than two, unlike the traditional two-level inverter, minimizing the switching losses in the process.
