Non-Invasive Glucometer

Description

In today’s world, measuring glucose levels from a conventional device requires you to prick your finger and take blood from it but this can be very painful and irritating for somebody who frequently wants to measure his glucose level such as a diabetic patient. Therefore, in order to resolve this issue we set ourselves to build a non-invasive glucometer which can measure glucose levels without any pricking using simple and safe infrared radiation. Using techniques of machine learning techniques we believe it is possible to calibrate a device which can detect glucose levels non-invasively. The other good part of this device is that it is affordable and inexpensive which if completed successfully can be successfully launched as a consumer electronic medical product. Additionally, as a further step, we have also established a Diabetic Management System from where a user can easily monitor his or her daily glucose-level profiles. (Group Project)
