Final Year Project

Project Title

Remote Load Monitoring and Management System

Description

The Project is aimed at acquiring power consumption data from Electricity Consumers. The Power Monitoring Device would be able to collect Measurements of Voltage, Current, Power Factor, Real and Imaginary Power, up to 5th Harmonic, and would be able to detect abnormal conditions and faults in the incoming power line. Electricity theft will also be detectable. The meter will send its data to a centrally located server utilizing the LoRa Communication Protocol, so remote areas where the Internet is not available can also be monitored. (Group Project)
