Document Archiving System using OCR - A Web-Interface Making Documents Management Easier and Efficient
Description
My final year project is a Document Management/Archiving System, which makes managing huge stacks of files/folders/documents easier. It makes use of the OCR technology in order to extract words/texts from certain format documents whereas it uses other filters and methods to remove contents from the rest of the formats. The idea was to develop a system that could help organizations and offices that deal with huge paper documents and would want them to turn digital. This project saves time, consumes less energy and is environmentallyfriendly
