Project Title
Cooperative Retransmission in Multicast Systems for Improved QoS
Description
The research project aimed to explore the reasons why streaming videos over Wi-Fi may have a reduced Quality of Service (QoS). After this, multiple retransmission methods and streaming protocols were studied extensively and the former was simulated. The findings are a part of our final deliverable. An advantage of out of band repair of Wi-Fi through cooperative retransmission by cellular technology is through superior availability and range of cellular signals.
