Description
My thesis project is a film, which revolves around the idea of dealing with inner guilt. It is in human nature to blame yourself for the tragic events occurring in your life, mostly to punish yourself to get the satisfaction of thinking it has been dealt with. What we don’t understand is that some things are just meant to happen and nothing can stop them from happening, especially death. I researched how lucid dreaming can be used to deal with emotions and creating fake reality around yourself. The film is about a father, Aadil, who is using experimental methods of dealing with the guilt surrounding the loss of his son but he is running out of tries. He thinks it’s his fault that his son is no more, but he needs to realize that there’s nothing much he could have done. Inspiration: a recent personal event.
