Final Year Project

Project Title

Road Damage Detection and Health Report Generation

Description

For my thesis, I have created a model of interaction that combines technology and data that will help tackle the deteriorating traffic conditions of Karachi. This system evaluates road health and generates a report based on the results. Such a design will help the management authorities in the inspection of road anomalies, cracks, and potholes. The main objective is to illustrate road damage detection and classification by automating manual inspections using machine learning and computer vision techniques. The three main parts of the project are Data Acquisition, Detection & Classification, and Road Health Report. The providence of this service is cheap, safe, and less labour-intensive. This is a joint project with Ovais Ahmed Yousufi.
