Final Year Project
Project Title
Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) State Estimation using Bayesian Filters under Nonlinearity and Heavy-tail Distribution
Description
Renewable Energy is the energy of the future. Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is the most widely used generator for wind power generation. DFIG estimates the state for its working under nonliterary since there are limitations in using the sensor for knowing the states. There are different algorithms, which are used for estimating the states, however, we are implementing different Kalman Filters for the estimation including a novel filter, and are observing the difference in efficiencies and writing a research paper on it.
