Rehnuma - Inclusive Indoor Navigation System for HU

Description

Our FYP was Rehnuma which was an inclusive indoor navigation system, designed for Habib university. It was designed to help the students, staff and visitors to seamlessly navigate the campus. It was inclusive and had an interface that was very intuitive and easy to understand. We used dijkstra's algorithm on the backend to provide the shortest path from a start point to the destination. The app utilized QR codes to help the users easily enter their starting point. To help everyone easily understand the navigation, we used pictorial guidance to guide the users through the campus, instead of lines and boxes. Our application also utilized a toggle for differently abled individuals who cannot use stairs, and it would guide them way only through ramps and elevators to their destination.
