Final Year Project

Project Title

An Investigation into the Functionality of Habib University’s Registrar Office

Description

The main aim of my paper is to examine the functionality of Habib University’s Registrar Office; what impediments or challenges can occur that can restrict the members’ abilities to meet their goals and how might these challenges be overcome. The deeper questions I hope to examine are whether these barriers are built into the administrative system of the Registrar. Through these aims, my paper attempts to uncover the mechanisms behind the bureaucratic systems we all exist in as well as a possible insight into what is working and what can be improved. This analysis was conducted via primary and secondary research. The primary qualitative research consisted of semi-structured interviews with members of Habib University’s Registrar’s Office, two surveys circulated amongst students from Habib University and students from other universities in Karachi, as well as Interviews conducted with both pools of students (Group Project)
