  • Career Development Program: Designed a cluster schooling model to tackle the problem of high unemployment in Rural Sindh. The proposal included a theory of change model, Monitoring and Evaluation model, and the program budget.
  • Safarnama: Used Speculative and Critical Design methods to envision alternative futures for Empress Market. Conducted site analysis to look for signals and prepared a back casting framework. Presented the research in the form of an audio tour.

Deconstructing the Pakistani Bridal Outlook: A Qualitative Study of the Gendered Patterns in Pakistani Bridal Dress Campaigns

Description

The aim of the research was to use discourse analysis to identify gendered patterns in bridal dress campaigns. In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher conducted a discourse analysis of campaign photographs. The results showed that the representation of brides in the campaigns is not only gendered, but some photographs also portray women as the object of the gaze. their young years.
