Rumi and the West on Ethical Cultivation of the Self and Soul

My research project explores the concept of ethical cultivation of the self by analyzing how Rumi’s spiritual teachings in the Masnavi align with and diverge from Platonic ideals of moral and metaphysical truth. It aims to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western ethical frameworks, focusing on personal, spiritual, and moral development through self-reflection and ego purification.
