Project Title
Cities and Change
Description
The project aims to map out how the collective and historical memory of the city of Hyderabad changed in the eyes of its Hindu population in the aftermath of the Partition. The project categorizes change and displacement within three main categories: religious, political and natural that follow with the flow of time. Through mapping out events and time periods that are the indication of change of life in the city, the paper attempts to map periods and feelings of alienation and belonging with relation to the city.
