Description

As an author and illustrator, I aim to stir hearts and minds with stories that explore the complexities of human experience. In my latest work, a book that delves into the effects of violence in the city of Karachi, I hope to create a tapestry of stories that is both illuminating and enchanting.Drawing upon the rich tradition of fairy tales, I weave together narratives that blend the happy and the sad, the light and the dark, in a way that speaks to the realities of life in Karachi. Through simple language and captivating illustrations, I aim to create a work that not only entertains but also challenges readers to think critically about the world around them. Through this book, I aim to address a gap in the literature by shining a light on the difficult realities that many children face, while also fostering greater empathy and understanding among readers.
