Project Title

Exploring Karachi’s Spectacular Weddings

Description

This study's main focus revolves around exploring the complexities of the physical “spectacle” created at Karachi’s elite weddings. Sub-questions looking to address the problem are: who is involved in the creation and maintenance of this illusion and why? And is the spectacle created to maintain an appearance of wealth and social standing within society?
