Final Year Project

Project Title

Robocup 3D Simulation Soccer Team - FCYohsin

Description

The RoboCup 3D Simulated Soccer League aims to develop autonomous humanoid robots that can beat a human soccer team, but limited participation and representation stem from confining technologies and a lack of open-source codebases. To solve this problem, we propose creating our own 3D Simulation League team, "FC-Yohsin," using Python and the latest robotics advancements, and competing in the world RoboCup 2023. Additionally, we will develop an open-source RoboCup framework, offering a testing platform for robotics algorithms, addressing onboarding issues, and serving as the basis for our team. Our solution aims to promote participation from underrepresented regions, assist newcomers, and promote advanced humanoid robot development.
