Habib University students are invited to apply to study abroad at one of the three leading institutions in the United States in Summer 2025: Stanford University, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the University of California, Berkeley. All three programs offer opportunities to learn at top international universities, experience a foreign culture, benefit from diverse perspectives, and connect with peers from around the world.
Students can mention only one program as per their personal priority and must indicate their choice on the application. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, November 10th, 2024, at 12:00 AM
The International Honors Program (IHP) is a collaboration between Stanford Summer Session and specific international teaching and research institutions. All IHP students are endorsed through a selective admissions process, initiated at their home institution. Stanford Summer Session partners with over 30 different universities in 17 countries around the world. Students are selected by their home university to attend a highly rigorous and immersive program that combines top-notch academics with extracurricular activities that explore the rich cultural, social and geographical resources of San Francisco Bay Area.
As a part of IHP, you’ll have the opportunity to earn credits at one of the most competitive universities in the United States. Students create their own schedules from more than 175 courses offered by 35 departments within the schools of Humanities and Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Engineering. Summer courses are taught by Stanford faculty, feature smaller class size, accessible instructors, and a diverse student body.

Berkeley Summer Sessions is one of the largest summer programs in the United States, hosting students from all over the world. Habib University has partnered with the University of California at Berkeley (UC Berkeley), to send students for a summer study abroad session to one of the world’s most distinguished institutions of higher education, known for its academic and research excellence.
Berkeley Summer Sessions offers more than 600 courses, including Summer-only certificates, English as a Second Language, and online options. Summer visiting international students get the opportunity to enroll in Berkeley courses for credit alongside UC Berkeley degree-seeking students as well as domestic visitors. Explore the Bay Area, experience American culture, and make friends from the US and around the world.

This program offers research opportunities at a top international university, experience a foreign culture, benefit from diverse perspectives, and connect with peers from around the world.
Selection for the Research Abroad Program is competitive and based on the quality of applications. A holistic review is conducted based on student’s academic standing, research capabilities, presentation and statement of purpose. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, November 10th, 2024, at 12:00 AM
