This format invites submissions from graduate and undergraduate students for completed or ongoing research projects. For ongoing projects, substantive progress must have been made to allow for an engaging presentation through a visual poster display.
The broader theme of the conference is Social Equity in South Asia, which is purposefully expansive and all-inclusive. Equity issues manifest in a variety of ways and have implications beyond a single sector. Research on these issues is nuanced and intersectional, and we encourage submissions from all disciplines, including work that transcends the confines of any single discipline.
Student presenters will have the opportunity to present the key highlights of their projects in a short slot, followed by a session where posters will be displayed for a wide audience to facilitate informal, one-on-one conversations about the projects. In addition to dissemination, presenters will also benefit from feedback on their work.
Students may submit either an extended abstract or a full paper for review by the conference committee. Selected projects will be informed and then asked to submit digital copies of the posters, to be printed by the conference.
