This showcase will feature field-based projects led by researchers, development agencies, or government bodies. Interventions may be ongoing or concluded, but should have made substantial progress to allow for a concrete presentation.
These may be quantitative or qualitative research studies which involve field experimentation, or implementation projects being run by any form of corporations or organizations from both public and private sectors. The goal for this segment is to raise awareness about the practical work being done in the field, outline challenges faced during implementation, brainstorm next steps, and to explore collaborations for resource sharing and empirical research on the projects.
Project leads will have the opportunity to present the key highlights of their projects in a short slot, followed by a session where interventions will be showcased for a wide audience to facilitate informal, one-on-one conversations about the projects. In addition to dissemination, this segment will also allow for focused engagement and future collaborations, including helping define the post-conference research agenda.
Project leads may submit concept notes, project proposals, action plans, or descriptive reports that will help the review committee in better understanding the project scope and focal areas.
