Playground brings you an opportunity of critical immersion, using Edward Said’s ‘Orientalism’. one of the most famous critiques of western discourse on the concept of ‘Orient’. The workshop will introduce you to discourse analysis, a method that will enable you to examine crucial texts and elaborate upon their meaning.

Massimo Ramaioli is an Assistant Professor in the Social Development & Policy program at Habib University. His main research interests include Critical Theories, International Relations and Middle East Politics.
