The project is available on my GitHub"}],"project_title":"PanelBot","fyp_desc":"I am making an automatic solar panel cleaning robot\r\nfor industrial PV systems for my fYP. The robot will\r\nreduce the labor cost and excessive water usage\r\nassociated with solar panel cleaning, and it would and\r\nhelp increase the frequency of cleaning to ensure that\r\nthe power output of the PV system stays at its\r\nmaximum (given the irradiance). The robot will mount\r\non to the solar panel array using mounting wheels, and\r\nit will employ PID controllers with custom motor\r\nencoders to ensure that the robot moves smoothly\r\nover the array and avoid any risks of dismounting.
