The implementation involves an automated delivery service, based on a wheeled mobile robot and a mobile app to allow the users to get items delivered within the operational spaces. The robot is based on the ROS (Robot Operating System) meta-operating system and embedded system platforms which communicate with a central server for localization, mapping, and obstacle avoidance computations, as well as, for coordinating deliveries.
