Participants will improve their research and negotiation skills by drafting resolutions and advocating for their countries. The conference aims to raise awareness about how global problems are connected and inspire critical thinking about solutions.

The purpose of Zero Week is to orient the incoming Class of 2029 as they formally become part of Habib University. During this week, new students will have the opportunity to meet their faculty, staff, and seniors. Zero Week will take place from August 9th to August 16th, 2025.

After the completion of their training the OL’s start their preparation for the Zero Week. During this time, they distribute the responsibilities among themselves and prepare accordingly. The Zero Week Preparation starts from 14th July till 8th August.

The purpose of the Welcome evening is to formally welcome new students of the class of 2029 and their parents. We aim to build trust and a sense of comfort for both the students and their parents regarding their decision of choosing Habib University. The event is scheduled on 8th August 2025 from 3:30 to 8:00PM.

Every year the Office of Academic Performance hires students as Orientation Leaders to provide support in the facilitation of Zero Week. Before Zero Week the OL’s are trained by the Office of Academic Performance. This year the training will start from 10th July till 14th July.

The HU Summer Academy is an onboarding initiative designed to reduce summer melt by creating a strong sense of belonging, ownership, and excitement among newly admitted students. Through a series of thoughtfully curated academic, social, and informational activities, the Summer Academy helps students transition smoothly into university life.
