Mapathon 2024 is a nationwide hybrid event bringing together participants from Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and online platforms. Organized by Code for Pakistan, this event aims to address urban challenges through collaborative mapping activities. Participants will utilize digital tools to map their neighborhoods, contributing valuable data that will be accessible through an innovative platform. The event will include interactive workshops, mapping sessions, and creative contributions from artists, all geared toward making our cities more livable and sustainable.
Who Should Attend:
Mapathon 2024 is open to everyone passionate about mapping, urban planning, technology, and civic engagement. Whether you are a technologist, designer, artist, urban expert, student, or community member, your participation is welcome. No prior mapping experience is necessary; training and support will be provided.

  • Karachi: Habib University, Horizon Studios
Training and Workshops:
The event will feature workshops led by experts in GIS, urban planning, and civic technology. A dedicated session on mapping will be available to ensure all participants are comfortable with the tools, making it an inclusive event for all skill levels.
