Learning Support Services Team has organized a meet and greet for tutors on Saturday, February 11, at noon at Arif Habib Classroom.
The meet and greet presents an opportunity to:
a) meet your fellow tutors and learn from their experiences;
b) discuss ways of effective one-to-one and group tutoring;
c) learn about structuring and delivering a tutorial.
EHSAS Center will be conducting a workshop on introductory STATA on Thursday, at EHSAS Center – Zone B.
During the workshop, students will learn to:
- Introduce Stata windows:
– Command window
– Review window
– Variable window
– Properties window (storage type)
– Result window
- Introduce the windows that separately open:
– Do-file
– Browser and edit mode
– Graph
– Log file
- Download the dataset through:
-‘sysuse’ command
– Computer (Importing CSV, excel, web, .dta files)
- Practice basic commands: ‘describe’, ‘summarize’, ‘tabulate’, ‘browse’, ‘display’, ‘list’, ‘drop’, and ‘clear’
