This is the 4th edition of our flagship innovation event called “Invent for the Planet” that’s conducted in collaboration with Texas A&M. It’s a 48-hour intensive global design challenge where top firms and universities around the world compete to produce some of the most impactful and contextually relevant ideas around the shared challenges. Previously companies like Microsoft, Boeing, and Nvidia have provided some of these challenges.

The aim of this event is to simultaneously engage students in universities around the world on a single weekend to solve high impact, global problems.

Hello,

For All Batches of CS

Khidmat is a non-credit graduation requirement for all CS-major students. It is an attempt to engage our students with society and help them make some meaningful contributions using the (computer science) skills you have learned so far. You will be working with some external non-profit organizations on some social cause project that requires your CS skills. You have to work for at least 40 for Khidmat.

Being a necessary part of your degree requirement, each student must understand the “Khidmat” process. We are arranging a “Khidmat Townhall” to discuss the process of Khidmat requirements from initialization to final submission. You are welcome to bring your queries; we would love to answer them.

Date: Tuesday, 31 October 2022

Time: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm (Golden Hour)

Venue: W – 242

Best,

Khidmat Committee
