The Writing Center is excited to announce its 4th annual 10Word Story Competition!

Writing is a process of expansion and contraction. Where one may start by writing two pages only to whittle it down until they have less than 10words left. We hope that the 10word limit bolsters your creativity and encourages you to think about language in new and exciting ways.

What does it mean to tell a story and to add a limit to your story telling process? We hope that participating in this competition might give you a deeper insight into this question.

Can you tell your story in 10 words or less?

Send us your submissions at:

and get the chance to win exciting prizes.

The deadline to submit your stories is 9th February 11:59 PM
