This unique occasion will offer an intimate setting for meaningful dialogue, networking, and the fostering of stronger connections between our cherished alumni and the current leadership of the University.

We believe that alumni input and feedback will be invaluable in helping NECHE to better understand their experiences and how we can improve our programs to better serve our students. This meeting will be an excellent opportunity for alumni to reconnect with each other and share their experiences since graduation.

The primary purpose of this meeting is to understand the difficulties and obstacles women encounter as they step into the workforce. The aim is to explore the potential of a women-centric website that can serve as a platform to empower and support young women in their careers.

The Office of Alumni Relations & Engagement is hosting the first alumni movie night featuring the Bollywood comedy, “Phir Hera Pheri.” This will serve as a great opportunity for alumni to catch up with old friends and enjoy an evening of laughter and fun.

This event is envisioned to provide our alumni a platform to once again experience learning at HU, this time at Horizon as a cutting-edge learning and collaborative space. Alumni will learn about the role of innovative learning spaces in higher education globally and within the context of Pakistan, the conceptual development of Horizon, and how the Horizon spaces are being incorporated into HU curricula going forward.

Venue: Horizon, 4th Floor

Inspired by the concept by The Human Library Organisation, the HUman Library (a project of Habib University Library and Writing Center) is a chance for individuals to share their unique experiences from their lives, as if they’re books, with those willing to listen to them, the “readers”. The aim of this project is to reduce prejudice and judgement towards those who have lived a life different from our own, and to create more sensitivity towards the anxieties and fears they may possess.
