The Habib University Debating Championship (HUDC) is a flagship British Parliamentary (BP) style tournament that brings together some of the most eloquent and sharp-minded debaters from across Pakistan, at school, college, and university levels.

Hosted annually at Habib University, HUDC is a celebration of critical thought, ethical argumentation, and intellectual community. With high-quality motions, transparent adjudication, and a commitment to inclusivity, HUDC provides a competitive yet respectful platform where ideas are challenged, reimagined, and refined. It is the start of the debating year and the first competition of the academic school year, which is why it holds such prestige and significance.

From national circuit regulars to first-time BP participants, HUDC welcomes a diverse pool of speakers and adjudicators, offering a space that values both technical excellence and moral imagination.
