From September 1–4, 2026, a three-person delegation from Duke Kunshan University
(Scott MacEachern, Zach Fredman, and Xin Li) will visit Habib University for a series of leadership
meetings and strategic exchanges. This visit is a benchmarking exercise requested by DKU, with
Habib engaging the delegation to explore its own institutional priorities in parallel. The visit includes
sessions on curriculum and academic governance, faculty lifecycle and development, student and
faculty exchange pathways, research support, and engineering and sciences collaboration, alongside
dedicated leadership check-ins and a session with graduating seniors on admissions at DKU.
