Description:
Its going to be a workshop. Students will immerse themselves in a real-world climate crisis scenario set in Karachi or Lahore. Participants take on the roles of key stakeholders, including government officials, urban planners, climate scientists, citizens, industry leaders, NGOs, and media. They will be tasked to respond to escalating climate impacts such as urban flooding, heatwaves, water scarcity, air pollution, and infrastructure stress.
Students would negotiate, debate, and co-design climate adaptation and mitigation strategies under political, economic, and social constraints, mirroring the complexity of real climate governance in Pakistan’s megacities.
