In this 60-minute interactive session, Prof. Rafe Steinhauer (https://engineering.dartmouth.edu/community/faculty/rafe-steinhauer )(Dartmouth College in the United States) will share how he and his colleagues are helping instructors across Dartmouth create design thinking projects in a variety of subjects (Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM). This session will open with a short presentation on how design thinking can deepen student achievement of any discipline’s learning objectives; next, Prof. Steinhauer will provide a workshop for each participant to begin imagining the structure of a design thinking project in their course. The session will conclude with a discussion/Q&A.
