The Arzu Centre for Regional Languages and Humanities will be inaugurated with a seminar on the teaching of languages and literature in the current context. Pakistan’s leading writer Intizar Husain will chair the session while other participants will be Zehra Nigah and Imdad Hussaini. This critical discussion will be followed by a dramatic reading of Premchand’s celebrated short story Shatranj Ki Bazi, presented by the Zambeel group. This story is a part of the curriculum in Urdu currently being taught to students.
