Course Description:
This is a documentary production course taking the student through all the three phases of documentary film production, pre-production, production and post-production. The student will learn how to develop their original ideas into a compelling documentary narrative, get introduced to the art of shooting interviews, and learn the basics of camera techniques and the fundamentals of composition, how to record good audio, and how to edit their footage into a finished story. By the end of the course they would have completed a short documentary film ready for screening to an international audience.
