Dr. Humera Noor was born with a passion for teaching, which led her to join the Computer & Information Systems Engg. dept. at NED University right after graduation from the same field. She developed an interest in Artificial Intelligence during her undergraduate studies and decided to pursue her doctorate in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Her stay at University of Central Florida during PhD and later at Technische Universität München for postdoc let her dig deeper into image processing, visual perception and assistive robots. After spending over a decade in academia, Dr. Humera joined Cliqz three years ago, which is a startup in Munich, Germany aiming to revolutionize the Internet by combining the power of data, browsers and search. Here she got to work first-hand with big data. Currently she is taking care of a team of analysts, engineers and students as a Quality Program Manager and pursuing her love of teaching by looking after "Cliqz University" - the technical on-boarding program at Cliqz.
