Ltd. has agreed to support several <a href=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/admissions\/student-finance\/\">full undergraduate scholarships for Pakistani students<\/a> for Habib University students as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Pakistan. A Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was organized on Habib University\u2019s campus with the CEOs of both institutions.<\/p>\n<p>As part of their CSR activity, numerous local and international enterprises have stepped forward to carry forward the mission of this innovative institution for higher learning. TSL joins <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sc.com\/pk\/\">Standard Chartered Bank<\/a> and Jubilee Insurance, who have demonstrated their commitment to CSR initiatives by supporting spaces and <a href=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/admissions\/student-finance\/\">undergraduate scholarships<\/a> for Habib University and its students.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3890\" src=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"702\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1.jpg 702w, https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1-620x297.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Parvez Ghias, CEO of Habib University Foundation, welcomed the new members of the community of Mohsineen of Habib University: \u201cIt is exemplary when individuals step forward and provide education for the nation. For this institution and its students, this signing significantly takes this important relationship forward. We hope you will frequently get to meet the HU students and join in their progress. One day they will graduate and become game changers for Pakistan\u2019s society. This partnership reflects the essence of corporate social responsibility, ensuring impactful contributions toward education and societal betterment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Ali Naqi Taqi, CEO of TSL, signed the MoU with the words: \u201cI would like to thank you for the opportunity to be part of the amazing work you are doing. After visiting Habib University, I was extremely keen on being part of your journey, and we quickly decided to sponsor students for 4 years. I believe it is our responsibility to help others break the glass ceiling and contribute meaningfully to corporate social responsibility initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3891\" src=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"702\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/2.jpg 702w, https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/2-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/HU-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/2-620x297.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Several students were present at the signing and inspired by their stories of fulfilling a dream by being able to access high-quality education made possible by CSR initiatives like TSL\u2019s scholarship support. Student Zoha reflected: \u201cMy experience at HU has been amazing. The <a href=\"https:\/\/habib.edu.pk\/admissions\/hutops\/\">HU TOPS 100% scholarships<\/a> for students from local school examination backgrounds are a game changer to provide both encouragement and equal access irrespective of background. It is a bridge, communicating all sides of our society. My aim was to be a Computer Scientist, and at the same time to shape my personality and hone my presenting skills. Dr. Shahid Sheikh, Dean of HU\u2019s School of Science and Engineering closed the ceremony by stating that \u201csociety must make sure that educational opportunities are available to all citizens regardless of their background and that is what HU is aspiring. Our process is already blind and the goal is to make the question of tuition fees irrelevant. And to make this possible we rely on society to come forward and join the cause, both individuals and companies.
